His batting record in all formats of the game is good if not best considering his style of play. He is one of the few players in the international cricket that scored hundred in Test, ODIs and T20s. The trade mark of his batting along with his classical and stylish shots is the speed of making runs which did not give much time to opposition for think or make plans when he is batting. He adopt his self very well in any situation no matter he is playing Test, ODI or T20 that make him one of the few very dangerous players of the World in cricket.

Brendon McCollum’s ability of changing gears during batting is something that impresses the viewers who watching him as well as the opponents who playing against him. His innings of 158 runs in the opening match of Indian Premier League is the best example of hard hitting and aggressive batting in T20 cricket. A wicketkeeper-batsman, McCullum has been worn as an opener in the shorter systems and worse down in Tests, but at whatever time he gets there at the pleat it’s impracticable to glance away. He strength balls over both sides of the field and was accountable for being paid the IPL off to an exhilarating start, illumination up the tournament’s first match with 158 and screening what the arrangement had to offer.

He also became the second man, after Chris Gayle, to score a Twenty20 international century at what time he shamelessly hollowed out 155kph contributions from Shaun Tait and Dirk Nannes over the wicketkeeper’s cranium in Christchurch in 2009-10. McCullum illustrates himself as “impetuous” and that innings was the testimony, but he has also been a key part of New Zealand’s Test team since 2004. In the longer set-up he has usually batted at No. 7 and in his 2nd series, entertained the throng with 96 at Lord’s.

His first two Test centuries came in opposition to Bangladesh and Zimbabwe and there were queries over his presentations in opposition to tougher adversaries. Ultimately, five years later than his Test debut, he elevated his bat in opposition to one of the top teams with 115 aligned with India in Napier. It kicked off an outstanding 12-month phase for the period of which McCullum scored three Test centuries and averaged 48.60. A trustworthy wicketkeeper, McCullum first completed the ODI team as a batsman only and in current times he has articulated a craving to bestow up the gloves and focus on his batting. Nonetheless, he has the most discharges of any New Zealand wicketkeeper in ODIs and will surpass Adam Parore’s smudge of 201 in Tests, if he stays behind the remnants.
